Do It Yourself (DIY) Guides

I would never consider myself a DIY expert in anything but I am reasonably handy with the tools and I'm willing to try my hand at almost anything.  Being able to do lots of stuff myself has saved us loads of money over the years.  Not all of my creations have been a success.  In fact some have turned out to be unmitigated disasters, but I've learnt a lot along the way and that has assisted me to be reasonably self sufficient when travelling in the outback. There's also a real sense of satisfaction when you make or repair something yourself.

Here we've posted some of our more successful projects that we hope will inspire the repressed handyman or woman inside you to come out of your shell and have a go yourself.
