Our RVs

My dad and I have always enjoyed the outdoors. For as long as I can remember we would go out bushwalking or camping. He taught me a lot about the outdoor lifestyle and I reckon I get a lot of my passion for this style of travel from him.

Then about 25 years ago, a mate of mine took be away for a 4wd weekend to the Victorian High Country to see the world famous Craig's Hut, the setting for the movie The Man From Snowy River. It’s about as iconic a 4wd destination as you can get and I remember the wave of emotions I felt as we climbed the last of the track up Mt Stirling and saw the hut for the first time. The view was spectacular. I knew at that moment I had to have a 4wd and have had one in my life ever since.

We have also progressed through various stages of portable accommodation. From a pretty basic tent, through to 2 camper trailers and now into our second caravan. Each one has had its good points and bad points and we have learnt so much from each one about what works and what doesn't work.

Hopefully by sharing the details of what we've owned in the past as well as the present, it will help you to decide what RV is right for you. Just click on the pictures for more details.
